Don't have enough materials to make an entire blanket? Why not make a few pillows instead?

Please make sure to note if you have special requests for certain shirt designs to be used or if you want them in a certain order. I won't use any of the plain color sides as squares unless there are no more designs to choose from.

I can even use parts of jackets, karate gi's, shirt sleeves, basketball shorts, denim just for examples--if there are any patches, tags or buttons on a shirt that are outside of the chosen design size area, I will remove and resew them to make sure they fit into the square.

If you are planning on using a mixture of various types of clothing made from different materials (i.e. knits, silks, denims, etc.) please contact me BEFORE giving me your order.

Batting (or the part in between the top and bottom layers) will be a high quality mid weight organic cotton or bamboo fleece.

Backing will be a high quality organic cotton or bamboo fabric in your choice of available colors.

I will sew the top two materials together and then sew through all layers in a grid pattern using invisible thread.

Please make sure all shirts and clothing are laundered and clean before starting your order. Due to my asthma I can not take any clothing that has strong smells such as smoke, mothballs, pet odors or perfumes-these will be returned so that they can be re-cleaned and your order will be delayed. There are many 'How-to's' online on how best to wash clothing with these issues.

Turnaround time is less than 2 weeks per blanket barring any unusual requests that might take longer. I can do these in as little as two days depending on my schedule but it will cost extra for rush fees.

Note: There may be extra charges if there is a design technique or use of a special (i.e. fragile, thin or dressy) fabric which requires more sewing time, please talk to me about your ideas ahead of time!

Unless special fabrics are used all quilts are machine washable on cold and dried on low heat.

DISCLAIMER: Your blankets are being created with clothing that varies with quality of raw materials, manufacturing techniques, stretching, age, etc. and imperfections WILL exist after assembly. I will be sure to let you know before assembly if a piece of clothing will not work. I will do my best to be creative and work with the materials you give me to preserve the memories to the best of my abilities .
